I used to sideload apps into my Playbook using DDPB installer, however with several OS upgrade, it seems that RIM has patch the hole in the OS. Although it is possible to install some android apps with OS 2.0, I am a bit hesitant to upgrade my OS to 2.0 for developer since I’m still using my Playbook for other apps that is not supported in OS 2.0.

Now I can smile again with DDPB Installer app updated to v1.0.8 with new UI that has been updated to be more user friendly and easier to figure out. I have not give it a try, but just grab the latest version and DIWYOR.

As we know Blackberry is giving out some applications for free download as Thank You Gifts. The period s for free download will end this week on December 31. This means the applications will become premium again on New Year, so you have to pay for it at full price.
