RIM kembali merilis BBM7 beta untuk diujicoba oleh member betazone. BBM 7 Beta diupdate menjadi versi v7.0.0.121. Ada beberapa perbaikan yang dilakukan oleh RIM seperti yang dirilis dibawah ini:

• Call stays ‘connecting’ for a very long time
• In the message “Missed voice” name of the contact is not visible
• ‘Not talking’ and ‘Not interested’ emoticons swapped
• Emoticons appear small, regardless of font size
• Emoticons don’t match in status message and display name after changing font sizes
• Uncaught exception or no audio when calling between 9810 and a 9981 on 7.0 OS
• Device opening a secure connection to sip.int.voip.blackberry.com but the server’s certificate contains a different domain: sip.voip.blackberry.com
• The timestamp in the email text that is forwarded from BBM Group Chat is not accurate
• Declining a phone call while in a voice chat will cause the voice chat to have no audio
• BBM contact status not updated correctly and BBM Voice icon remains disabled after Child Protection goes from enabled to disable
• While in a active phone call, receiving a BBM Voice Call will put the device in speaker mode automatically for OS 7.1.0 device
• While in a active phone call, receiving a BBM Voice Call will drop the audio for the phone call for OS 6.0 device
• After cancelling an outbound call another outbound call is placed automatically
• Chat ended with call history added twice
• Unable to restore BBM contact list for one-time recovery from SD card when SD card has 0 bytes free
• User can send voice notes while on a call using convenience key and with on screen attach button
• Device becomes frozen after receiving an MVS call during a BBM Voice chat
• When receiving a phone call while in a voice chat, there is no audio in a voice chat when ringing
• When receiving a phone call while in a voice chat, the message explaining that accepting the phone call will end the voice chat is cut off
• No menu option to activate speaker phone or headset when call screen is minimized
• Contact Voice Status appears in italics beside music symbol when replacing Music status
• NullPointerException popped up on screen after battery pull
• BBM still shows the Name of the song as status, even though the song is not playing and Show What I’m Listening To is unchecked

Twitter App Beta v.3.2.0.9 is now available in the Beta Zone.

Some changes, bug fixes and backend changes has been implemented by the development team

New features:

•  Follow/Unfollow buttons on user lists
• Improved support for expanded Tweets, including article summaries and photos.
• One item that is noticeably missing is the ability to choose which picture service the user wishes to use.

Twitter untuk Blackberry update versi 3.1.0.11 sudah tersedia di BetaZone. Belum banyak yang saya bisa katakan, tapi menurut lognya, perubahannya mencakup:

• Perbaikan untuk complain tidak bisa menekan ‘L’  untuk reply to all
• Perbaikan untuk pop up error “Sorry you are not authorized to see this status”
• Adanya duplicate Replies
• View Pictures yang tidak berukuran penuh atau terpotong di new Tweet details
• Undo Retweet fails
• Right to Left – Scrolling di timeline jumps melewati links seperti  @mentions dan #hashtags to Retweeted by user link

RIM has rolled out the Blackberry Messenger v6.2.0.15 in the beta zone. release notes from RIM mentioned some enhancements in the latest BBM v6.2.0.15 that includes:

• Animated display pictures - More animated display pictures are now built into BBM. Change your picture to suit your mood.
• Change your name or message inline - You can quickly change your name or status message without leaving your contact list by clicking the text at the top of the screen. To exit inline editing, just scroll down. You can still access your profile screen by clicking your display picture.
• Streamlined voice notes - When your convenience key set to open BlackBerry Messenger, if you highlight a contact in BBM and press the convenience key, you can start recording a voice note. Once you’re done, pressing the convenience key again will send the voice note. Group chats. You can return to the default color at any time.

• BlackBerry Tag enhancements - Adding contacts has never been easier. If your BlackBerry smartphone supports NFC technology, you can turn on the Allow Automatic Invitations by Tapping option. Then, as long as you or someone else has BBM open, you can add each other as contacts by aligning the backs of your smartphones. This feature requires that you both have the latest version of BBM installed on smartphones that support NFC technology.
• Improved search - When typing the name of a contact or group, the search ignores special characters and emoticons to make it easier to find what you’re looking for.
• Resend a message  - If a message didn’t send (for example, if your smartphone was outside of a wireless coverage area), you can highlight the message and select Resend from the menu.
